on what you like / dont like in the current closed beta(still work in progress),and what kind / type of suppression effect would you like to see in Rising Storm 2 Vietnam?!

what i dont like in the current BETA:
* heartbeat sound : https://youtu.be/-EbjpLP1SOI?t=3m50s ,it's annoying just like Sheldon playing bongos in the middle of the night...https://youtu.be/akK4mzEZVRU?t=1s,and it happens all the time:
someone shots at you -"Sheldon playing bongos"
a grenade goes off -"Sheldon playing bongos"
a RPG is fired next to you -"Sheldon playing bongos"
artillery shells are dropping-"Sheldon playing bongos"
...
for me,it adds nothing to immersion and does not scare me or will put my head down,it is just annoying.

* the blur/blurry vision effect: there are too much blur,it is kinda overdone(almost double vision like) and it lasts way too long.
* the sound(bullet cracks and whizzes):well they are placeholders,so more about them later,...but right now they are too weak,silent,and not scary enough.

what i like:
* i like that most of it are just placeholders and work in progress,so they have still time to improve or change things. ;)

what kind / type of suppression would i like to see:
* INSURGENCY: (for me personally) suppression in that game is spot on...it has a nice dust and dirt kick,its not too loud not too silent,no color change,no heartbeat sound,it does not mess with you aim ,your character screams in fear and for help, and it adds just a little bit of blur that goes away fast...and the bullet cracks are
more,sudden,surprising,and terrifying as hell. (even after 120 hours,i still twitch sometimes in my chair)

so what do you guys like or dont like, and what kind of suppression would you like to see in RS2 Vietam ?

It's an improvement over Rising Storm but at the moment it doesn't feel as scary as it should when you're being shot at. Those clips of Insurgency and Squad are a great example of what it should be like, good solid sonic cracks accompanied by some dangerous looking bullet impacts. I don't necessarily mind the blurriness as it does mean MGs will actually be able to suppress to some extent but the white flashing at the edge of the screen I'm not a fan of, as it doesn't look very appealing and just seems to add clutter to the screen.

I haven't been able to play the beta yet but personally I think suppression mechanics should always mess with your aim. The way RO2/RS did it was pretty good imo, giving you more significant sway, faster breathing, and didn't allow you to use focus zoom. Mechanics you can attempt to counteract yourself if you are suppressed(instead of just flat out increasing the random bullet spread from your weapon). For me this has always added more interesting decision making when being suppressed, whether to attempt to return fire or just stay down/get the hell out of the area.

Oh, i played game and it feels like somone said arcady compered to RO2. Its just visual effect with lot of blur. RO2 RS is good to me, mess up you focus and breathing.

Also comment like they are killing us will probably be added in RS2 because all those things were in RO2/RS1. I liked when you seen soldier dying and swearing at them.

I agree it's not "scary" as such and can be annoying when your SL is in a stupid location and squad spawn gets you continuously pinned or worse but that's a strategic choice. I'm not sure if it should mess with your aim on on the fence about that one (perhaps a server side option?), but great how it is at moment still and f'n loooove that heartbeat sound with general sound skewed, should always mess with your vision. Hope they go nuts with the random squad screaming, more the better.
