Happened to me too,lastnight.Game unavailable...i turned off the auto update feature and removed the shortcut for the beta patch.Then it worked ok.Maybe just luck.
I would ask Tripwire to give Valve a swift kick in the ass as far as their technical support is concerned.
The automatical "submit a question" interface generates one website-error after the other, and signing up on the boards to post a problem obviously takes hours until a human actually activates your account. What kind of Kindergarten is that?
So far the error seems to be very randomly. It can happen after a reboot, or not.
