Server Why do players get dumped at map change?

can anyone tell me how i stop players being "lost" from our server every time we run a new map?

Very annoying to have say a dozen "Real Human" players in and when map changes they are gone.

What do you mean by dumped? Do you mean that they get disconnected? If so, does it happen to all players on your server or just a hand-full? Is it when changing to a custom map or to a stock map?

Either they joined via spectator when the server was full then they'll get disconnected on map change when the server does a player check and realises there's more players than slots.

Or those people subscribed to the sound mods on the workshop which are broken.

Or they simply willingly disconnected at the end.

Supplemental reasons:

Or the people didn't actually disconnect but are downloading the custom map the server switched to but won't appear on the scoreboard until they finish downloading and loading into the game.

Or the admin forced a map switch before people could finish loading into the present one, which disconnects them.

Also note that It's common for 10-15 people to exit a server after each map change too; add that on top of a custom being loaded and it can appear as though the server just died, but in fact hasn't.

Thanks guys for the info.
It happens at the end of a map, when it goes to a map change. Goes back to my welcome screen, click connect and when I get in there there are only me and bots. Humans seem to have gone but some come in again. Looks like they all get trashed, dumped, kicked out at map change
