As far as the map name goes, I think now that another version popped out, i'm going to change mine, so there is no conflicted. People want the BF look and mine looks completely different. So like Major said, "It can be any jungle in the pacific".

I know bud. However, I just don't want 2 maps out there with the same name. I see problems occurring like version mismatches and what not. I think since the other one looks more like what people are use to seeing, it's probably better for the long run. No worries , it's just the name. What's important is how a map plays.

Yeah. It would've been cool having the wake island in RS be completely different than the BF version, but I guess you really can't change the name of the other wake island. I really like the idea that Twrecks put out though.

I would have thought maybe Monsoon or Typhoon would be more appropriate for the Pacific?

For what it's worth, I prefer Downpour. It has a heavy and depressing connotation which IMO suits the vibe of the screens very well.

Wow that map looks magnificent!

I like both names although OtoriShima has something to it. But then, in my opinion, it should look more like the real wake island (for historical sake) if it is called OtoriShima.
