Immersion Overhaul Mutator Information

For PRAPOR.
You shouldn't be dowloading from redirect.
You must have done something wrong in your manual installation.

Round on the Apartaments was cool, but in the Barashka game start to lag and i have CTD 2 times. It sad.
IOM eating much more my memory than base RO2? I dont know...

I've encountered scope bug.
It disapperas while you hold shift.

I believe that's intentional.

You are correct, pepihoh. What Adenru's image shows is a feature, not a bug. It's to simulate the difference between shouldering a scoped rifle (clicking your aim key) and actually aiming with the scope (the zoom function here doubles as "aiming": peering into the scope with proper positioning of the head to aim and fire). That's what I surmise anyway.

Kinda fixed all the issues I had with the previous version (pistol/semi auto rof and so forth). And I'm very fond of the new guns and grenades, I think they'll also add a great deal to the appeal of the mod. And the ability to customise class load outs is the icing on the cake. Yay for engineers with rifles! And AT infantry with a bolt action and molotovs or an AT rifle and pistol!

That said, suppression might be a tad over the top. But only a bit. Think I need to play some more before I can fully judge though.

Also, the workshop install method kinda needs fixing. Having to manually install the mod will limit the appeal and result in fewer players. But this much is obvious.

:IS2: Clients crash when on map with the vehicles, tried barashka, arad2 and all client crash randomly, here is my crash log:

So I think more investigation must be done with these maps, because apparently it is a 100% client crash (server never crashed today :D) when on maps with troop transport.

:IS2: I also noticed there is no mortar/arty icon on the kill death message in Rising Storm


:IS2: The sniper scope shadow should actually be with gradient shadow instead of black circles, the idea is great and cool, be it is actually almost unusable / not fun you can't see anything I think


:IS2: I also noticed that if you throw a Molotov on the head of the player getting out of the tank turret, the Molotov blows and disappear. "schlack! pufff..." (I actually did not test on 1.14 but in 1.13, I don't think you modified it in 1.14)


:IS2: Something that would be great is an extended time on all maps, and a cut in reinforcement (an old mutator TimeScaler was doing that if I remember well). With the mod what I noticed is that gameplay is really reduced in speed, and in kills. With long spawn distance and dynamic speed, for example on Mamayev we did not capture B, and I think people did not play like cows, but it was just hard to go there. We tested on full classic (full classic = realism sprint and stamina as the old classic speed and stamina is for custom mode), I modified our server setting and activated spawn on squad leader to see if gameplay is improved or not. we'll see.


:IS2: I also had this old bug from day one on this mod, people who have the bug can press F3 and type "umbra culling" but this is annoying :p

This version needs still some tweaks and fixes but it is good improvements! Good job to all modders involved!

Ah, but you can't focus when you're suppressed ;)

There's dibbler's point to consider. Furthermore, there are other valuable details to be taken from IOM's marksmen mechanics. Next time you take a Marksman role and aim, note how the two stages work and differ. Just shouldering the rifle allows you to redirect yourself quickly and offers notable peripheral vision to the sides of your scope. When you go to peer down the scope, your aiming sensitivity decreases, enabling you to line up your shot just right once you have narrowed your focus onto one target.

I like to think of this as bringing more nuance to the Marksman role, really setting it apart from the Rifleman-with-a-scope it basically is in RO2 vanilla.

With the new update (1.14) I'm unable to access Steam Workshop in the Rising Storm menu. I installed the files manually by using the provided .7z file and I installed to RO Game in the Documents/ My Game/ Red Orchestra 2.

When i click on steam workshop my game freezes. I exit desktop and I find a error message saying "Can't bind to a native class.
Please verify your game cache integrity via Steam and try re-start." I check the integrity of my files and all my files successfully validate.

I delete my RO Game folder in the MyDocuments section and my game runs just fine. I think it's just the Immersion mod that's causing this. My dxdiag is attached.

arad2 caused my client to crash as well, such a shame :(

mamayev was unplayable for attackers due to (zero) ADS zoom, i could spot people with the binoculars but when i could not see anything when trying to shoot them with my rifle.

semi-autos are very different to vanilla, you can't spam with them but it is very rewarding now when you get a kill, even in CQB ! that myshkova river game was epic :D

I also could not get in.

-Downloaded from WS: it said that there was an error in opening the sound mutator file.

-Unsubscribed, Downloaded and ran the file manually: got huge delays on welcome screen (sometimes role selection screen) and either froze or CTD. One time it said i was losing packets, but i put this down to the delay.

-I did add the SoundMutato line to the ini. but this made no difference.

Any ideas?
