Silly Iwans think 6.5x50 is a intermediate cartridge. :D

The 6.5x50mm was the round they ended up using for the production model in 1916, but it is not the only round the Fedorova rifle was chambered for, or indeed even the round it was intended to use, Fedorov origionally wanted the rifle to fire a true intermediate rifle round, but WWI and the need for a working rifle put an end to that, and the production model had to be chambered to a readilly avalible caliber, it was a simple matter of logistics.

None the less, the Fedorova rifle was chambered for many different calibers durring R&D, they existed as prototypes only, but one of thouse prototypes was chambered for an experimental intermediate rifle round, and that is why the Fedorova is considdered the first AR, it's because of that prototype, and not because of the final production model (which is clearly not an AR, it's a BR).

It's damn hard finding any usefull info about all of this online today though, you can find plenty about the 1916 production model, but very little about the prototypes or the earlier Avtomatica Puska rifles from 1910 and 1912.

The info used to be out there many years ago, but i can't find it now.. it's depressing :(

37mm Spade Mortar
It broke if you used it as a spade and it didn't pack enough of a punch for a efficient mortar.
