Jeepers, one then has to express admiration for the utter Kampfbereitsamkeit shown by the German army in their swift and total response. I guess we were asking for it, guilty as charged.

I consider watching the show but I have a question -
Does this show give a more or less realistic view of the Germans of the period or is it the "neo" view where everyone is innocent, miserable and victims and only follow Hitler and a bunch of villian-looking SS guys (who are also the only people responsible for everything) because they forced their hands?
