Not here, people wore ugly clothes in the 90's here, the more wrong it was the better. Red pants, bright green jacket with a blue tshirt. The more disgusting it was the better.

That's what defined the 90's for me: "wrong".

Even the music was totally wrong.

I've heard it originated in prison... male inmates would wear their pants like that to let others know they're "available." I don't know if it's true, but I laugh every time I see people in the city wearing them like that.
