What car do you drive?

I just got a Mini Cooper in BRG and with checkered roof, now to just pass my test...

http://s652.photobucket.com/albums/uu246/mamoo0692/?action=view&current=Mini.png

Can anyone help me? I've tried to embed the picture as a GIF, JPEG and BMP image and only get the little white box with a red cross, this is the code I'm using:

<a href="http://s652.photobucket.com/albums/uu246/mamoo0692/?action=view&current=Mini.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i652.photobucket.com/albums/uu246/mamoo0692/Mini.png" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

You have to do it like this Picture URL here[slash img] Slash = /

Have you ever had any ABS problems?
Funny you mention this, but yes! I don't think it's actually the ABS (because the brakes and everything handle perfectly) but the sensor that sets off the ABS light. It only seems to go off when my car gets covered in snow, but the ABS system still works.

I've had it checked out at several places, and all have said it's in perfect working order. So I'm not going to dish out any money to fix it.

Also, my engine light is permanently on, but it's due to a small (when I say small, I'm talking minuscule) leak in one of the hoses underneath my car. Guy said instead of spending $1500 to fix it to just not worry about it.

That's what I've done for 3 years, no problems. Gets more MPG than what it's rated. :) Car runs and handles like a dream. I really want the 2009 Malibu though, they are amazing!

1968 Ford Torino

1968 Ford Torino

I bought this as a parts car for my '68 Torino fastback. The guy I bought it from thought it had a blown motor. It was skipping really bad and barely ran at all. I bought it for $800 and brought it home. I check everything out, and although he'd put new plugs, wires, distributer cap, and rotor button in. He'd neglected to replace the points, and condenser. Well, I now have a good running, $800 '68 Ford Torino!

800 dollars you lucky son of a beatch :) awesome find. LUVLY!!! God I like that kinda reminds of the 67/68 Roadrunners, there's a guy that stays a few doors down from my sister and he owns a 72 Torino man that thing sounds awesome, I luv it. I like the 70 Torino with the big open charger mouth I want one.

I took this pic on my phone :(, now you gotta understand where I come from these cars are very few and far between so having 2 (1 Ford Torino and 1 68 440 Plymouth Cuda) in my local town means a lot.

Thanks! Torinos are my favorite. They are really under appreciated in my opinion. It does make them inexpensive though, which is good for me! This car is still going to be a parts car though. I'm using it to fix up my '68, and '69 Torino GT fastbacks. The '68 is candy apple red with white interior, it originally had a 289 in it, but I'm putting in a 429 with a 4 speed. The '69 is an original R code 428 CJ 4speed car. It was originally Black Jade with Nugget Gold interior. I don't have a pic of the '68 handy, but I do have a couple pics of my '69. As I said it's a work in progress so it's not perfect...yet.

I like it a lot if i stayed in the states I would own one. Either that or a Plymouth Roadrunner or Dodge Coronet. This was the car that was hammering everyone on the speed way until dodge launched the 66 charger which was Dodges/Chrysler's answer to the pony car, which in 66/67 sold a decent amount but only really started to sell in 68 with the new body design.

GM anyone?? Pontiac led the styling!
I'll sell you this bad boy!

The Barracuda is one of my friends. It is all original... in amazing condition!

But really though Dodge stole a lot of the styling from GM. The 68 charger looks a lot like 66 67 GM A-Bodies... and in 66 67 Mopar was stuck in 1964. By 68 GM A-Bodies were redesigned again and in 1972 Mopar restyled again like GM to fast backs. Anyways... at least what I see. I still love Mopar and GM.

Keep us posted on your restorations! I am about to do a frame off on a 1966 GTO in my college. I will post photo updates on it!

You'd get one hell of a deal for that vintage Toyota 'round here
I'm thinking a Camry, the local Toyota yard has a couple of ex-staff member 2009 models in their lot for a good price, with around ~20,000KM (12,500 Miles) on the clock and coming with the full new car warranty. I am going to test drive on Saturday :D

I like the idea of dealer second hand as you get the warranty, complete service history etc. Not a flashy car I know, but good features for the price, economical and of course with the reputation of reliability Toyota has it's an obvious choice given what I want.
