There are other FPS games besides CoD and BF, you know...EA and Activision are the main reasons why I never see any old FPS vets still playing anymore, we've all but given up on the FPS franchise

Yes but to quote the lead designer of Timesplitters "All people are really interested in nowdays is CoD" (He was asked why TS4 isn't in development).
And it's true, I don't think I've seen a single AAA developer try to mimic the gameplay and success of CoD sometimes with its franchise, sometimes with horrible results

Ok, the commented bit at the end made me cringe, lol, but honestly? This looks pretty fantastic!
Gimmicky as hell so I'm sure the "pro" community this commentated nugget at the end was for is going to rip it to shreds but it looks like hilarious times can be had in that game!

Black Ops was the one COD that has stopped me buying anymore. Even though the series was on a downward spiral since COD2 it wasn't until Blops that the fun ran out.
Not sure what it was, it should have been at least enjoyable like other CODs. Maybe it was over saturation, lack of any decent maps or dull gameplay. It was just a painfully boring game. I had more fun with MW2 and that was pretty terrible.

BO bored me rather quickly, but when servers with competitive rule sets came out, it was more or less ok. Not as good as CoD4 promod, but it was ok.

I wondered why people hated blops so much? Compared to MW2 it was amazing, as it had servers. Obviously cod in general is bad but MW1 was great cause it had servers, blops had servers so why is it bad? I have not bought MW3 and i wont buy blops 2 though.
