Day Z, a zombie survival mod for ARMA2

I made a few screens to show you guys how much fun this is! We played on a server called "BRaindeath Lingor" a other map than chenarus and u need a whitelisting to join the servers that pretty much solve the hacker problem or reduce it to a minimum!

This is taken from a post on the DayZ Forum.
If any of you have ToH and/or been following ArmA3 you will know that lighting and weather and all that real world stuff has been worked on intensly.
DayZ SA is drawing on the BIS assets available....

This is the screenshot of the game:

This is a real life photography:

And this is a histogram of both images, and the almost inexistant difference between both:

As you can see, DayZ light range is pretty similar to reality, therefore photorealistic and with no need of adjustment.

I tried this for the first time yesterday. It was really exciting for the first five minutes. Then some dick came to the same building I was in, and hacked me to death with an axe. After that I get randomly kicked, I come back and try to find something at the nearby gas station. Two zombies pop out from the back of the house and chase me for like 20 minutes. I even went into water and swam at least 100 metres and they were still swimming after me

@ Gervaise Brook-Hampster

Well I would say "welcome to DayZ", and that would pretty much sum up your first experience.
Choose carefully which server you play on, pop over to the Forums and check out the 2 Server sections, Public & Private.
If you are willing to put some time into the game I can point you in the right direction.

Good luck.
