Server Unknown Steam Error

I have been hosting our own Killing Floor servers so my friends and I can all play together. It is very hit and miss when it works though.

The main issue I'm having is when I try to password the server I am hosting. When I place a password on the server it seems some of us are able to connect with no issue, but others try to connect and immediately get the error: "An unknown steam error has prevented you from connecting to the server". I myself get this error and I'm even the one hosting the server. Connecting works fine when the server has no password but with no password there is always the chance that pubs will join the server and we want to just play our own game and it's a pain to have to log into admin and kick them.

Is there any fix for this issue? I haven't been able to find one so far.

You are talking about the .BAT file which removes the SERVERIP field of killingfloor.ini right?
This is not a solution, it is a workaround. TWI should fix this issue.
