Hello Tripwire KF section.

I am currently in the process of 'beta testing' if you will, FastDL services for maps, mods etc on a moderately popular 40 slot KF server. I am looking for 3-5 popular servers to host said services, you will be provided with a subdomain, FTP and bandwidth graphs. It will be completely free of charge for the rest of the time that your server is online.

This post may look shady as all hell, but shoot me a PM with your server IP if you're interested.

so umm, youre hosting a redirect? or the actual servers? i'm still not sure what youre asking for....

I'm hosting the Fast Download URL server, any big server will use FastDL because the Steam way of download maps is known to be extremely slow.

dont you get a redirect service automatically when you rent a server?

it would be nice though to make "locational" redirect service, that way if someone connects to your US server from Europe, the redirecturl would send them to a server near their geographical location.
but then again, i doubt they would stay long on your US server if they get packet loss.

Gameservers offers automatic redirect services however some other providers(Including mine) don't offer it for free or at all. I'm sure someone might find use out of this.

I am currently doing it for a gaming community who has their own Dedicated server. I also offer it for my GSP, the majority do.
