So I recently rented a server with game servers frag not lag, this isn't the only issue either. This is one of the problems, one they are having trouble upgrading it from six slots to twelve, and when I add a few custom maps it disables the leveling perks. I'm very familiar with configurations, and editing config files. So fellow members if you have any advice please let me know what you have done in the past to fix these issues. -Thanks Sandman
Server Custom maps issue.

You can only have 12 slots on a VERSUS survival server. The normal survival mode can only have 6 slots.
A mutator is needed if you want to run normal survival mode with more than 6 slots. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=675314991 this is the one, and it is white listed.
For custom maps, they do not disable perk progression, unless they contain unallowed stuff in them..
