"Something else that is coming shortly is our Linux Dedicated Server beta test. It may not be in time for The Descent Content Pack, but sometime in the near future we believe we will have Linux server files ready for admins to test via SteamCMD."

I almost still care enough about the game to be excited... Almost...

Next time you guys publish a game, could you actually have the Linux dedicated server out when I'm still interested in the game and want to play it, as opposed to 2 years later? It's too late to milk me for cash now. I'm bored with the game.

I don't really think it is their priority to support Linux servers (what a shame this should be a top priority especially when you rely on community servers to sustain your game's server base)... I laugh (sarcastically) for all the people who bought it in EA to play it on SteamOS too... This also is not even on the store page.... pretty sure it was announced officially but apparently... plans changed, and communication on that topic is always at its best (still laughing sarcastically)...

I've seen this behavior, but only for the first time a client connects after server startup or mapchange.

I made a bug report: https://forums.tripwireinteractive.c...-loaders-v1053

Does that look similar to what you're seeing?

It does, had a look through my logs, there's a 200s gap between Flushing & Flushed, looks like with the latest patch it happens on more maps. But for me it's 100% CPU and you can't join for the entire time.
