I'm LoneGreeble, a veteran mapper for killing floor (under a different name) returning to map again for killing floor 2, when it releases.
Some of you might have some great ideas for maps that should be made for the game but lack the skills necessary to make it. So I have started this thread for mappers like me to be able to find your ideas and use them, obviously by posting your ideas here, you are allowing us to use them. So start sketching or writing out some great map ideas, I'll get the ball rolling.

An old-fashioned sawmill with sawblades that kill zombies dumb enough to walk into them.

A nightclub with flashing lights and loud music on a miami-themed street.

Trenches that connect to bunkers. The players cannot climb out of trenches and zeds jump in. Should be pretty scary.

A casino, with slot machines, black jacks, all that jazz.

If you'd like, reference photos are acceptable as well.

A museum level with a few large open areas (the exhibits and stuff), and tight corridors linking them. Could potentially have vents high up from where crawlers pop out of, and balconies overlooking some of the open areas. :D

Nice, i see where you are headed, but there are different kinds of museums, which do you have in mind? maybe a war museum, or art museum?

I think a war museum would be pretty awesome as a map as well, even with a natural history museum, they have so many differences in architecture and visual aesthetics that they could both work...just don't name them both KF-Museum, lol. Also, for a natural history museum, lots of time would be spent on modeling custom props for the map, but a war museum would take less time if you could port Red Orchestra 2 models over to KF. shouldn't be illegal right?
